ANNAPOLIS, MD—The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on many couples’ marriage plans.
Governor Larry Hogan took steps on Thursday to alleviate some of their frustration.
“The impact of COVID-19 has required Marylanders to make extremely difficult decisions regarding their wedding plans,” the governor said on Thursday. “I’ve issued an emergency order that allows court clerks to issue marriage licenses and conduct marriage oaths remotely.”
