NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Baltimore County.
The watch will remain in effect until 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Forecasters say showers and a few thunderstorms along a strong cold front moving in from the west mark the sudden onset of gusty, possibly damaging winds.
Impacts include strong winds, wind damage, lightning, and possibly hail.
Motorists should use caution and residents should stay tuned to local forecasts.
