NOTTINGHAM, MD—Americans will have a few extra months to file their taxes due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Friday morning, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin announced that “Tax Day” had been moved to July 15th.

“At (President Trump’s) direction, we are moving Tax Day from April 15 to July 15,” said Mnuchin. “All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties.”
