MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Crews battled a vehicle fire in Middle River on Monday morning.

The fire was reported at just before 10 a.m. in the parking lot of the Costco located at 9921 Pulaski Highway (21220).

Arriving units found a vehicle was almost fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control relatively quickly and no injuries were reported.

There is no word on what caused the fire.

Witnesses say the vehicle’s owner went in to finish shopping after the fire and secured a ride home.

The damage to the vehicle was extensive.
