NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two local crimes that were reported this week.

At 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, a resident on Dendron Court in Carney (21234) found a burglar in a bedroom when he came home. The suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his property. The victim complied and the suspect stole his personal belongings, as well as items from the home.

At just after 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, an individual broke into Pappas Restaurant & Sports Bar, located in the 1700-block of Taylor Avenue in Parkville (21234) via a window and stole two cash drawers containing cash. The suspect then fled on foot.
