MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Police are investigating a shooting that was reported in Middle River on Thursday afternoon.

At just before 4:45 p.m., officers responded to Oak Grove Drive (21220) for a report of a shooting.

At the scene, officers found one victim who had been shot in the lower body.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
