Parkville home burglarized, Essex man robbed at knifepoint, Essex Pharmacy burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 11 a.m. on Monday, January 20 and 6 p.m. on Monday, January 27, an individual broke into the enclosed rear porch to a home in the 3100-block of California Avenue in Parkville (21234) and stole tools and various other items.

At 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, a man was robbed at knifepoint in the 800-block of Brunswick Road in Essex (21221).  Two suspects pulled out a knife, placed the knife to the victim’s neck, and demanded cash. The suspects stole cash and pushed the victim to the ground before fleeing.

Sometime between Thursday, January 23 and Friday, January 24 at 2 p.m., an individual broke off the lock on a storage unit in the 3000-block of Eastern Boulevard in Middle River (21220) and stole three dirt bikes.

Sometime between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 24, an individual pried open a shed door in the 100-block of Lariat Road in Middle River (21220) and stole a generator.

At just before 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, two suspects pried open the front door open to the Essex Pharmacy located in the 1500-block of Country Ridge Lane (21221). Once inside, they stole bottles of assorted liquid cough medicine. The suspects were interrupted by a passing witness and fled the scene.
