Fight reported outside of Looney’s, Parkville assault reported, Rosedale business robbed

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, and 12:45 a.m. on Friday, January 24, an individual broke into the Posh & Play, the Fun Wok, and L.A. Nails, all located in the 7400-block of Belair Road in Nottingham (21236).  Cash and various items were stolen.

At 5:30 p.m. on Friday, January 24, two people were walking in the area of Old Harford Road at Joppa Road in Parkville/Carney (21234) when a group of nine juveniles assaulted them and attempted to steal items from their pockets. The suspects then fled the scene.

At just after 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, a man got into an argument with another man in front of Looney’s Pub, located in the 8700-block of Belair Road (21236), when another man came outside and joined in the verbal altercation. The suspect then got into a physical altercation with the victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital and the suspect was arrested.

At 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, January 26, three individuals, one of whom was armed with a handgun, robbed the employees at Pulaski Tire Service, located in the 7800-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237).  The suspects stole the victims’ cell phones as well as cash from the business.

At 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, a woman was carjacked in the 4300-block of Kolb Avenue in northeast Baltimore (21206).  The woman was robbed of her cell phone and vehicle by an armed suspect.
