Parkville Pharmacy burglarized; Fullerton book store, Essex delivery driver robbed

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, an individual grabbed a purse from a woman who was stopped in her vehicle in the 1200-block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221). The suspect also snatched the woman’s phone from her hand then fled in another vehicle. The victim’s property was later recovered.

At just before 5 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, two individuals broke into the Parkville Pharmacy, located in the 8100-block of Harford Road (21234), by prying open the front door. Once inside, the suspects stole pharmacy merchandise and then fled the scene in a vehicle.

At 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, an individual entered The Turning Wheel Bookstore, located in the 7900-block of Belair Road in Fullerton (21236), implied a gun, and demanded money from the register. The suspect assaulted the victim, forced open the register, then stole cash and fled the scene.

At just after 5 p.m. on Saturday, a cab driver was assaulted and robbed by an armed passenger in the 6600-block of Wycombe Way (21234). The passenger then fled.

At just after 1 a.m. on Sunday, an individual robbed a delivery driver while they were making a food delivery in the 1200-block of Middleborough Road in Essex (21221). The suspect approached the victim from behind and pointed an unknown object at the victim’s back. The suspect then stole cash from the victim and fled the scene.

At 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, an individual entered the Gamestop located in the 100-block of Carroll Island Road in Bowleys Quarters (21220), flashed a handgun, and stole a game console. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
