OVERLEA, MD—A large water main is being repaired near the Overlea area, leaving many residents without service.

The Department of Public Works reports that a 20-inch water main has been shut off for repair in the 3500-block of E. Northern Pkwy.

The outage is impacting 150 services, almost all residential.

The affected area stretches from the 3500-block of E. Northern Pkwy, east to Belair Road, including the 3700-3800 blocks of Pinewood Avenue (21206).

There has been no estimate as to when service will be restored.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
