ESSEX, MD—Police are investigating two armed robberies that were reported in Essex this week.

At just after 2:45 a.m. on Monday, December 30, two people were were walking in the area of Bayner Road and Eiffel Court (21221) when two individuals approached from the nearby bushes. Both of the suspects displayed handguns and demanded money. The suspects stole shoes from one of the victims before fleeing the scene.

At 7:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, two armed individuals approached the victim in the unit block of Fore Court (21221). One of the suspects demanded money from the victim and they obliged. The suspects then fled the scene.
