NOTTINGHAM, MD—The southbound Interstate 95 Express Toll Lanes in Baltimore will be closed temporarily this weekend, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

Weather permitting, the closures will begin on Friday, December 6, at 9 p.m. and the express lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, December 9.

As part of the MDTA’s next generation electronic toll collection system, workers will be replacing existing toll-lane hardware and software at all toll facilities.

Motorists will be able to use adjacent mainline I-95 traffic lanes during the closure.
