Friday forecast: a few rain bands, breezy

NOTTINGHAM, MD – At long last Hurricane Dorian has made landfall and is expected to move off the coast.

The National Weather Service says Hurricane Dorian will track northeast from near the Outer Banks of NC Friday morning to offshore by Friday evening.

A few rain bands will affect part of our region today, mainly in southern Maryland.

Breezy conditions will develop, with strongest winds in southern Maryland where a Tropical Storm Warning is in effect.
