ESSEX, MD – Crews are on the scene of a Tuesday evening crash in Essex.

The crash was reported at just after 5:15 p.m. along the inner loop of I-695.

The inner loop has been shut down at exit 36 (Route 702).

There has been no word on any injuries.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
