ROSEDALE, MD – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight in the Rosedale area.

At around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, officers responded to the 8700-block of Fontana Lane (21237) for a reported shooting.

At the scene, police found a 41-year-old victim suffering from an injury.

The victim received medical treatment and was released from a local hospital a short time later.

Detectives are investigating the incident at this hour.

Authorities believe that this shooting was an isolated incident.
