Man robbed at Regal Inn, attempted carjacking reported

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported this week.

Sometime between 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, and 5 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, an individual broke the window of the office trailer at Maryland Paving, located in the 600-block of Batavia Farm Road in Rosedale (21237), to gain entry. Several food and beverage items were stolen from the refrigerator before the suspects fled.

At 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, five individuals pulled a man from his vehicle in the 5600-block of Utrecht Road (21206), robbed him, and then attempted, unsuccessfully, to steal his vehicle.

At 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, two individuals approached a man and forced him into a hotel room at the Regal Inn, located in the 8000-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237). The suspects assaulted the man and stole his cell phone, money, watch, and then fled in a vehicle.
