Nottingham CVS robbed, dog stolen during burglary, burglar caught eating food

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating a series of crimes that were reported over the past few days.

At just before 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, while at the bus stop in the area of Philadelphia Road at Petrie Way in Rosedale (21237), an individual attempted to steal the victim’s bicycle and threatened to assault the victim. The suspect then walked away.

At 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, four juveniles threw an object at a vehicle in the area of Hamilton Avenue at 32nd Street (21237). When the victim stopped her vehicle one of the suspects pointed a BB gun at the victim. The victim was able to flee and all four suspects were apprehended.

At 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 12, am individual broke into a home in the 7600-block of Chesterfield Way in Rosedale (21237) via an open window. The suspect was consuming food when police arrived and apprehended him.

Sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, an individual broke into a home on Heartwood Avenue (21234) via an unlocked door and stole a television, two cell phones, and a dog.

At 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, an individual robbed the CVS located at the corner of E. Joppa Road and Belair Road in Nottingham/Perry Hall (21236). The suspect stole cash and then fled the scene in a waiting vehicle.
