NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating a local robbery that took place on Wednesday.

At just before 11:30 p.m. on August 7, an individual entered the 7-Eleven located in the 8000-block of Belair Road in Nottingham/Fullerton (21236).

The suspect made a purchase at the register and, once the register drawer was open, he threw hot coffee at the cashier.

The suspect then grabbed the money from the drawer and fled the scene on foot.

There has been no word on whether the cashier was injured in the incident.
