NOTTINGHAM, MD – Get ready for a yummy frozen treat.
Rita’s will be celebrating on Thursday as August 8 is National Frozen Custard Day.
The Rita’s locations in Parkville in Carney and in Perry Hall will be offering a promotional size of frozen custard in a cup or cone for just 99 cents all day. One promotional offer will be allowed per guest, per visit.
Similar to ice cream, frozen custard is made with eggs in addition to cream and sugar. The dessert comes in several flavors. Franchises and custard shops all across the country cater to perfecting this creamy dessert and all its delicious options. Mixing it up with toppings such as syrups, nuts and fruits, custard is another satisfying version of ice cream.
Rita’s in Carney is located at 2201 E. Joppa Road (21234).
Rita’s in Perry Hall is located at 9648 Belair Road (21236).
Both locations will be open from noon to 10 p.m. on Thursday.
