NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police have provided an update on a pursuit that took place in the Perry Hall/Nottingham area on Monday morning.

Authorities told NottinghamMD.com that, at about 10 a.m. on Monday, an officer with the MDTA Police attempted to stop a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle had been reported stolen by the Philadelphia Police Department.

The driver fled and officers lost sight of the vehicle.

Police later located the crashed car along Brookfield Road, in the area of Belair Road at Joppa Road, and it appeared that the driver was able to flee the scene on foot. The suspect is still outstanding at this time.

The vehicle has been impounded and the investigation is ongoing at this hour.
