Parkville convenience store robbed, shed burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating three burglaries and a robbery that were reported this week.

At 2:45 a.m. on Monday, June 17, an individual used a rock to break the door glass to gain entry into the Dollar General store, located in the 100-block of Beacon Road in Middle River (21220). Once inside, the suspect stole several items and then fled.

Sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Monday, June 17, and 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, an individual entered an unlocked shed in the 2600-block of Taylor Avenue in Parkville (21234) and stole a bicycle. The bicycle was recovered by an officer.

Sometime between 10 a.m. on Monday, June 17, and 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, an individual broke into Spartan Pizzeria, located in the 600-block of S. Marlyn Avenue in Essex (21221), by prying the plexiglass door frame off of the track. Once inside, the suspect stole cash from the cash register.

At just before 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, an armed individual entered the Oakleigh Convenience store, located in the 8400-block of Oakleigh Road (21234) and demanded money from the cashier. After receiving the cash, the suspect fled the scene.
