JOPPA, MD – Imagine running down aisles full of merchandise with your shopping cart, grabbing item after item as you race against the clock. Four Maryland Lottery winners and their guests will be doing just that this weekend as they participate in the excitement of the Warehouse Dash in Chicago. The lucky winners were selected through the Maryland Lottery’s Holiday Cash & Dash second-chance promotion.

Winners receive a two-night, three-day trip-for-two to Chicago, including airfare, hotel, welcome reception/dinner, $500 in spending cash and participation in the Warehouse Dash.

During the Dash, each winner has 90 seconds to run through a merchandise-filled warehouse and grab as many items as possible, including name-brand consumer electronics, housewares, outdoor/patio items and much more. The winner and their guest will work in tandem as a team: one person will push the shopping cart while the other tosses the merchandise into the basket. The four winners are:

This was the fourth year for the Maryland Lottery’s Holiday Cash & Dash second-chance promotion, which ran from October 22, 2018 through January 14, 2019. Players received entries into the contest by submitting non-winning holiday-themed scratch-offs into their My Lottery Rewards account. In addition to the four Warehouse Dash trips, the Lottery awarded 273 other prizes including cash prizes ranging from $1,000 to $25,000, and 120 scratch-off prizes.

Four additional lotteries ran a Warehouse Dash promotion last year, including Maine, Missouri, New Mexico and New York. Winners from the Maine Lottery’s promotion will participate in the Dash this weekend with the Maryland winners.
