A Parkville resident managed to escape after burglars broke into his house last week.
At around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, three armed individual broke into a home in the 7800-block of Wendover Avenue (21234), near the intersection of Perring Parkway and Taylor Avenue.
The resident locked himself in a bedroom when he heard the break-in.
The suspects then tried to enter the bedroom so the resident fled out a window, according to police.
The victim called 911 and police arrived as the suspects were fleeing the scene.
Police found three guns that the suspects had discarded while they were in the home.
No property was reported stolen.
