Crews are on the scene of a water main break in the Carney area.

The Department of Public Works reports that an 8-inch water main has ruptured in the 9200-block of Bellbeck Road (21234).

One hundred residents and two fire hydrants are currently without service.

The county says that repairs are now under way.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
