Pedestrian struck in Fallston



Pedestrian StruckUPDATE: Maryland State Police say that a 17-year-old male, a student at Fallston High School, drove to and parked his vehicle at a church on Carrs Mill Road and began to walk to school. The student told troopers that he did not see any cars coming when he ran across Route 152. He was then struck by a 2006 Hyundai Tucson that was travelling southbound on MD-152. Fortunately, the driver saw the student run out and was able to slow the vehicle before impact. The student refused medical treatment and went to school. There were no charges issued.

Crews are on the scene of a Friday morning crash involving a pedestrian in Fallston.

The crash was reported at about 7:45 a.m. in the area of Mountain Road at Carrs Mill Road.

Reports indicate that a teenager was struck.

The teen sustained minor injuries.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
