A water main break is affecting hundreds of Rosedale residents.

The Department of Public Works reports that a water main has ruptured in the area of Rossville Boulevard at Cedarhouse Court (21237).

Approximately 200 residents and five hydrants are currently without service.

Crews are on site and making repairs.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
