Early Friday afternoon, patrol officers called for backup stating that they were following a vehicle with verified stolen license plate tags. Air support took over when the officers attempted to make a traffic stop but the driver began to flee erratically down Pulaski Highway into Baltimore City.
The vehicle continued to drive recklessly into Baltimore City, where the driver struck two parked cars and fled on foot.
Police then caught and apprehended the suspect. Detectives subsequently determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Baltimore City and the tags were also reported stolen from a different vehicle in Baltimore City.
The uncooperative suspect was taken back to Baltimore County for charging.
His identity has not yet been released.
