An Essex woman has been identified as the victim in Thursday night’s shooting in Overlea.
Tracey Elizabeth Carrington, 25, of the 1100-block of Glemsford Road (21221).
Carrington was shot while getting into her vehicle on Overlea Avenue after leaving the S&S Lounge, located at 6900 Belair Road.
Police have further clarified that this was not a drive-by shooting.
The suspect, who is still believe to be on the loose, exited his vehicle, shot Carrongton several times, then fled the scene.
Authorities believe this was a targeted crime.
