Police are investigating a shooting that was reported overnight in the Rosedale area.

At about 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, units responded to Leatherwood Place (21237) for a report of shots fired.

After arriving at the scene, officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the mid-body.

The victim, a 24-year-old male, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are actively investigating this case and hope to provide more details as additional information becomes available.
