Strong storms barreled through Harford County and portions of northern Baltimore County on Tuesday night, and a major artery has been shut down as a result. At just before 10 p.m., the Maryland State Highway Administration reported that Harford Road had been shut down in both directions at New Cut Road due to a fallen tree. There has been word as to when the roadway will be reopened. Motorists should use an alternate route.
