Police are investigating several burglaries and robberies that were reported this month.
Sometime between midnight on Tuesday, June 11, and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, an individual broke into a home in the 3000 block of Woodside Avenue in Parkville (21234) by forcing open the basement door. Walls were damaged throughout the house in order to remove the copper piping. A radiator was also stolen.
At about 4 p.m. on Wednesday, a suspect, identified as the landscaper, entered the victim’s home in the 2500 block of Cub Hill Road in Carney (21234) via a side door. The suspect was exiting the victim’s home when the victim arrived. The suspect was arrested at the scene.
At 10:30 p.m., a man was assaulted and robbed in the area of Kingston Road and Cockspur Road in Middle River (21220) by two suspects who were supposed to pay him for a ride.
At 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, a man entered the Essex Bank located in the 1200 block of Race Road in Rosedale (21237) and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave the suspect cash and the suspect then left the bank.
At just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, two juveniles were robbed of their cash, cell phones, and shoes by four unknown armed suspects in the 900 block of Ashbridge Road in Essex (21221).
