Assault reported in Essex, burglary reported in Nottingham, Essex construction site burglarized

Police LightsPolice are investigating three burglaries and an assault that were reported over the past week.

At just after 6 p.m. on Friday, May 11, two men got into a physical altercation in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue in Essex (21221).  One man took out a knife and cut the other man. The victim was taken to a local hospital and the suspect was arrested.

Sometime between 5 p.m. on Friday, May 11 and 7:30 a.m. on Monday, May 14, an individual broke into a construction in the 900 block of Thompson Boulevard in Essex (21221). Once inside, the suspect stole two computer mouse devices, then fled the scene.

Sometime between 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, and 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, an individual broke into a residence on Dunhaven Place (21236) via a bedroom window and stole several electronic devices.

Sometime between 2 and 3 p.m. on Monday, May 14, an individual entered an apartment in the 2200 block of Lowell Ridge Road in Parkville (21234). Once inside, the suspect flipped the mattresses and opened the dresser drawers in both bedrooms. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.
