Showers available for residents at Y of Central Maryland

As residents assess the damage from Friday’s high winds, many still find themselves without power on Saturday morning.

Baltimore County Councilman David Marks has announced that residents without power may use the Y of Central Maryland facilities in Towson and Perry Hall for showers and for phone charging. The Parkville location was without electricity but now will open at 9:30 a.m.

Residents can find the location closest to them at the main Y of Central Maryland website.

Power outages are extensive throughout central and northeastern Baltimore County. Residents can check their areas at https://outagemap.bge.com/.
