The Department of Public Works reports that water mains have ruptured in Parkville and in Essex.

DPW says a six-inch diameter water main has broken at 8 Tigerwood Court in Parkville (21234). Six customers are currently without service.

A 12-inch water main has also ruptured in the 600 block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221). Approximately 70 customers and two hydrants are currently without service.

There has been no ETA on repairs.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
