Police searching for missing Overlea boy

Police in Baltimore County are searching for a 12-year-old boy reported missing from Overlea on Wednesday and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.

Dennis Wayne Schaefer III is approximately 5’6″, 135 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket when he left for Parkville Middle School around 7:35 a.m. after having an argument with his father.

He did not return home on the bus, and although he sometimes walks home to the 100 block of Overlea Avenue he never returned home today.

Dennis does not have a history of leaving home. He has no money or phone with him.
