Emergency crews are responding to the scene of a serious Wednesday crash in Essex.

At about noon, paramedics responded to the 400 block of Eastern Boulevard (21221).

At the scene, responders found a crash involving multiple vehicles.

One vehicle was reportedly on its side and was person was trapped and in need of rescue.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
