On Wednesday, the Department of Public Works provided an update on the Joppa Road water line replacement project.
In August, DPW began replacing 7,000 feet of water pipe along Joppa Road in Carney/Perry Hall between Walther Boulevard and Belair Road.
Officials now say the project is 65 percent complete and that work should wrap up by late summer 2018.
The $3 million project will ensure water quality and improve service to residents in Carney and Perry Hall.
