One killed in fatal Perry Hall crash

fatal-crashPolice now say one person has died as a result of injuries sustained in a Friday afternoon crash in Perry Hall/White Marsh.

At just after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a car crash on Honeygo Boulevard at Silver Spring Road (21128).

Authorities say a 2001 Lexus ES300 was traveling southbound on Honeygo Boulevard and struck a 2010 Jeep Commander at the intersection with Silver Spring Road.

The Jeep was traveling westbound on Silver Spring Road, leading up to the collision.

The Jeep was then forced into a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox that was traveling eastbound on Silver Spring Road.

The two occupants inside the 2001 Lexus were taken to a local hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.

At just after 3:00 p.m., the driver of the Lexus was pronounced dead. He has been identified as James Minsurk Kim, 72, of Perry Hall.

The family of four inside the Jeep Commander were all taken to local hospitals with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet Equinox was not injured.

Police are continuing their investigation into this crash.
