Motorists heading north from the Nottingham area along Interstate 95 should expect heavy delays on Friday evening.

At just before 5:45 p.m., officials say a crash along northbound I-95 in the Joppa/Edgewood area (at just past mile marker 75) sent one vehicle off the highway and over the guardrail.

A Medevac chopper is heading to the scene to transport one seriously injured patient.

Motorists should expect heavy delays in the area.
