The man who set up a hidden camera in a restroom at White Marsh Mall has been identified and charged.
On Tuesday, an arrest warrant was issued. Mussawwir M. Sterrett, 40, of the 3600 block of Woodsdale Road in Abingdon, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.
Sterrett set up a hidden camera in the family restroom at White Marsh Mall in late December. The camera was discovered by a mall patron on December 23. In the process of setting up the camera, Sterrett accidentally caught himself on video, which led to his arrest.
Police said that “very few people” were caught on video before the camera was discovered.
