A local restaurant will be re-opening before spring.

The Double T Diner located at the corner of Joppa Road and Belair Road in downtown Perry Hall is set to re-open March 1, 2018, Councilman David Marks told NottinghamMD.com on Tuesday.

The diner closed back in June to allow for the reconstruction of the Joppa/Belair Road corner.

The restaurant was rolled to its new location a few months ago and a CVS Pharmacy will be opening in its place.

Local officials say that the arrangement preserved more than 40 jobs at the location.
