GoFundMe page established for elderly Fullerton beating victim

Jim Fullerton Attack VictimA GoFundMe page has been established for a man who was viciously beaten by a group of six individuals last week.

The 69-year-old was beaten by six juveniles in the 4200 block of Cardwell Avenue (21236) on Wednesday, January 3, as he was preparing to take his wife to the bank.

The six teens attacked the man, robbed him, then ran over him with his own vehicle, crushing his hip.

Shortly thereafter a neighbor found “Jim” on the curb and brought him a blanket, while another individual called 911.

The man was taken to Shock Trauma and underwent surgery for multiple fractures in his pelvic bone, internal bleeding, and multiple contusions. “Jim” will be hospitalized, then in a rehab facility for approximately 6 weeks. It is uncertain when “Jim” will be able to walk again.

Four of the juveniles were arrested earlier this week, and three of them have been charged as adults.

The goal of the newly-created GoFundMe page is to raise $5,000 for “Jim” and his wife.
