THE WESTTOWN-EAST GOSHEN REGIONAL POLICE DEPARTMENT IS INVESTIGATING AN ARMED ROBBERY THAT OCCURRED AT THE T-MOBILE STORE IN THORNBURY TOWNSHIP, CHESTER COUNTY, PA.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is still seeking assistance from the public with the identity of individuals responsible for the gunpoint robbery at the Thornbury Township T-Mobile Store.

The police department is releasing video of the two offenders that entered the store as employees were closing. A third offender remained in a silver sport utility vehicle outside.

On Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 9:21 p.m. the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department responded to a reported armed robbery that just occurred at the T-Mobile Store, located at 1359 Dilworthtown Crossing in Thornbury Township, Chester County, PA.

At the time of the robbery three T-Mobile employees were preparing to close the store when two individuals entered the front door at 9:09 p.m. The first offender to enter, a white male with a pistol in his right hand, did not have his face covered initially. This individual ordered the employees to the rear stockroom at gunpoint as a second offender, described as a black male entered the front door with his face covered.

Once the employees were confined to the rear of the store, the second offender produced large trash bags and ordered one employee to load the bags with cell phones and tablets. The black male offender tied the wrists of the other two employees with wire ties as the white male offender threatened to shoot them if they failed to comply. During the robbery the offenders were communicating with a third person who was the driver of a silver sport utility vehicle that has tint. Once the third employee was restrained, the silver SUV moved from the front parking lot to the rear door of the store where the two offenders loaded the store inventory into the SUV. The SUV was last seen exiting the parking lot onto Rt. 202 northbound. Police believe that the vehicle involved proceeded south on Rt. 202 towards Delaware.

The three store employees, who were not injured, were able to free themselves from the restraints and called 9-1-1 for police assistance.

The first offender is described as a white male, mid 20’s, approximately 5’10” tall with brown hair, mustache and a green tattoo on his neck. This offender was wearing a black knit cap, black bandana with white print, black gloves, a gray zip hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. This individual was armed with a handgun equipped with a laser.

The second offender is described as a black male, 6’3″ tall wearing a black knit cap, black mask, black bomber style zip up jacket, black pants and black gloves.

The vehicle involved in this robbery appears to be a silver sport utility vehicle with dark tinted windows.

The offenders were able to remove the various brand cell phones and tablets that were in stock at the Thornbury store along with cash from the money drawers.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department received assistance at the scene from the West Goshen Township Police Department and the Birmingham Township Police Department. Detectives are working with federal, state and local law enforcement to solve this violent crime.
