The 2nd annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration that had been scheduled to place at The Avenue at White Marsh on December 31st has been cancelled.

Officials with The Avenue made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon.

“Due to the forecasted temperatures, we have made the difficult and disappointing decision to cancel this year Noon Year’s Eve event,” The Avenue wrote on Facebook.

Officials added that they would try to reschedule the mid-day ball drop for a future date.
