Police are searching for a woman who stole car with a baby inside in Essex.

At just after 10:30 a.m. on Monday, a woman said that her car was stolen by a female passenger, an acquaintance, after the woman left her car running and ran into the 7-Eleven located at 836 Eastern Boulevard (21221).

The victim’s 6-month-old baby was sitting in the back seat of the vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a black Mazda with Maryland plate number 88730CC and was last seen heading toward Baltimore City.

Anyone with information in this vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately.
