Police in Baltimore County said on Sunday that officers had made an arrest in connection with a threat made toward Perry Hall Middle School.
The Baltimore County Police Department tweeted that the threat had been made on Instagram.
The school had placed an automated call to parents on Sunday informing them of the threat.
Authorities say the juvenile suspect is a student at Perry Hall Middle School and has been located and taken into custody.
Police say this was an isolated incident and that no additional suspects were involved.
As a precaution, there will be additional officers present at PHMS on Monday morning.
