A Saturday morning water main break is affecting some areas of Parkville.

At about 9:30 a.m., the Department of Public Works reported that a main had ruptured in the 3000 block of Putty Hill Avenue (21234).

Approximately 40 residents and one fire hydrant are currently without water service.

There has been no ETA as to when repairs would be completed.
