Police are investigating after a man attempted to strangle a woman during a robbery attempt in Perry Hall/Nottingham.

At about 12:45 a.m. on Friday, September 22, the man approached the woman from behind as she was removing items from her vehicle in the 8700 block of Blairwood Road (21236) near the Perry Hall Apartments.

The man demanded the woman’s bag and a struggle ensued.

The suspect attempted to strangle the woman in the rear of her vehicle.  The man then grabbed the bag and fled the scene.

Police have not yet released a description of the suspect.  There has been no word on the victim’s condition.
