Two men from Pennsylvania were injured in a boating accident along the Gunpowder River on Friday evening.

The crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. near Neptune Drive in Joppa.

Crews from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene and transported both patients to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Trauma Center.

Details surrounding the crash are scarce, however both men’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
