Rescue crews were attempting to rescue several vehicles stuck along flooded Middle River roadways early Saturday morning.

At about 1 a.m., fire & rescue units responded to the area of Wilson Point Road at Eastern Boulevard.

Reports indicate that several vehicles are trapped in knee-deep flood waters.

The road has been shut down while the rescue operation is under way.

Motorists should avoid the area.
